I’m sure that we can agree that the great state of Michigan is one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the world.
My adventures in the water, winter, wonderland began a long time ago and it’s been great to share many of my experiences, findings and adventures with you.
“…Michigan is one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the world.”
I have been amazed by the large number of peculiar and fascinating places, people, and events that are found, and have taken place here.

What’s even more remarkable, is that even after chronicling hundreds of strange Michigan topics, there exists the possibility that we have only just scratched the surface of what can be found in this wonderland.
What has been discovered and written about so far, is most likely only the tip of the mystical iceberg, so to speak. The journey has just begun.

I have been astounded by the wide appeal of the Mystic Michigan series books. In an age where people have so much information available to them online, the number of people making these books a part of their collections has endured through the passing years, and the interest has continued.
I’d like to thank each and everyone of you that have bought and enjoyed the books over the years. You’ve been part of a rich and fascinating adventure, and it’s been a great opportunity to hear from you all. Thank you for the letters, calls, and inquiries. I appreciate that Ive been able to be a part of your family and friends lives and adventures.
My hope for you is that you will never lose your sense of wonder and amazement as to how incredible and beautiful this world is. My wish is that as you go through the years you will find a sense of inspiration, and get caught up in the wonderment of living.
May you have the time of your lives! Many rich memories to you and your families and friends. Special thanks to cinematographer Mark Boardman, owner of Boardman Video in Cadillac for launching the show, and to Professor Nick Kuiper, and all the students in the Television and Digital Media Production program at Ferris State University.
All of you worked tirelessly and sacrificed your time to help bring Mystic Michigan from print onto the next level of of experience, which is to experience it through the medium of cinematography.
Thanks to the one and all, and thank God for Michigan!
